Q1: a. For airline companies, the check-in self service system can reduce the amount of work. For tourists, this system helps in saving their time spent on check-in. b. Logical boundary: For check-in without consignment only. If a passenger has bags to consign, then they still need to go to the counter. Physical boundary: A upright and intended human interaction machine. c. The tight coupling relationship appears in between self-service check-in machine and the tourist's passport. d. Input: passport; Output: boarding pass; Interface: self-service check-in application. e. Positive feedback: Passengers are required to submit their accurate information; airlines companies find out that helps a lot in checking each passengers' details. Then they use the data to locate and process each tourist. the more accurate information is, the quicker in processing check- in. f. Internal constrains: the system can process check-in without luggage only. External constrains: Complicated transaction are usually not supported so airport employees still need to stand beside the machine for overseeing the transaction. This means they have to pay their attention on self-service machine and that is a waste of human resources. Q2: a. It might be a model of student system. In my opinion, it is not a good model. Because it does not define the purpose of the system, inputs, outputs and environment. I would like to plus these necessary details to make it complicated. Logical boundary of student system: an individual has available student ID or not. Physical boundary of student system: limited to student. b. As is demonstrated in my new improved model, it is a model of student system. Firstly, there are four components and subsystems. In detail, they are SLEEP, GO TO UNI, STUDY and EAT. Secondly, assume that there is a food court in the school then the relationship appears in between GO TO UNI and EAT can be understood easily. Thirdly, assume that the students can only absorb knowledge with energy. Therefore, we have energy as outputs of both SLEEP and EAT. Finally, the purpose of this system shown
