POOR BUSINESS ANALYSIS · Systems analysts require a range of knowledge and skills in order to fulfil their role: o Technical knowledge, including of analysis techniques, information technologies and (ideally) programming skills o Business knowledge o Problem solving o Communication skills, verbal and written and in individual and group settings o Ability to listen and understand what others say o Ability to work effectively and cooperatively in team environment o Flexible, adaptability, resilience, persistence and ability to cope with and manage change o Leadership, mediation and conflict management skills o Ability to empower, trust, delegate and assign responsibility to others o Knowledge of, and adherence to, relevant ethical principles and standards of behaviour .
