Biography

I am currently a Biomedical Engineering and Computer Science third-year at the University of Florida. I have been tutoring for the past 7 years at school, through clubs, and through tutoring agencies. I was also an instructor at Mathnasium for a year, in which I held group teaching and private tutoring sessions. I am experienced in fields of math ranging from Calculus, Linear Algebra, and Differential Equations, and have often applied these skills to both physics, computer science, and engineering courses.

Calculus Early Transcendental Functions

Determine whether Rolle's Theorem can be applied to $f$ on the closed interval $[a, b] .$ If Rolle's Theorem can be applied, find all values of $c$ in the open interval $(a, b)$ such that $f^{\prime}(c)=0 .$ If Rolle's Theorem cannot be applied, explain why not.
$$f(x)=\frac{x^{2}-2 x}{x+2},[-1,6]$$
