I am a current first-year student at UVA and am hoping to major in Biochemistry. I have taken AP U.S. History, AP World History, AP Language and Composition, AP Literature, AP Calculus BC, AP Statistics, AP Physics C, AP Biology, and AP Chemistry. I have finished Intro Chemistry 1, Biostatistics, Psychology, and Calculus 1 in college so far. I feel confident to teach in Chemistry and some areas of Math (statistics, lower level algebra, pre-calculus, Calculus 1). I received a 34 on my ACT (31 math, 34 reading, 34 science, 36 writing) and feel confident in working on standardized testing questions. I was an active peer tutor in STEM courses throughout high school and enjoy teaching.
