Biography

Hello! My name is Amanda Schmidt. I have a Bachelor's of Science from UCLA in Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology. I have been tutoring students since my sophomore year in high school. In college I worked for a formal tutoring company tutoring fourth and fifth grade students in math and English Language Arts for two years before transitioning into a leadership role. I have also worked as a kindergarten teacher's aide.

I have a passion for teaching science and math to students and inspiring them to pursue careers in STEM. I am currently applying to medical school myself to pursue a career as a physician. I love helping students understand new subjects so they can feel confident to understand their material.
