Biography

Dedicated, passionate, relatable, and adaptable. These are just a few words that describe my teaching style. I have been a professor for a total of 3 years, during that time I have come to appreciate and acknowledge many different techniques and learning styles for instructing a diverse range of students. I ensure my student's education and mental health is a priority during my time as their mentor. In the beginning of the semester, I provide a common platform that they empathize with regarding my educational journey. I am a single mother with a young son, who has undergone many trials and tribulations during my education. This entices them to reach their full potential in the classroom. By teaching at a community college, I have had the pleasure to interact with many types of learning styles and people. I believe this has elevated my teaching style to cater to each pupil individually while meeting the needs of the class as a whole.
