Biography

Although I currently work as an English teacher, I have tutored many students in math over the years. I began tutoring in high school by helping some of my friends with their work in math classes I'd already taken; after I graduated, the school principal recommended me to other struggling students to help them pass their math classes as well. In college I was also hired by private clients to tutor students in math and other subjects after posting my resume on Care.com. At my current school site, I teach AVID as well as English and help the students in the AVID program with their homework in all subject areas. I've also requested to teach a freshmen study hall during our school's support period in order to tutor freshmen students in their math and other classes.
