I am a native of the bay area, having grown up in Berkeley and Oakland in the local public school system. I have experience working with STEM education support organizations such as the Institute for STEM Education, the HOST Labs program, Deecolonize Academy and have most recently served as TA for two undergraduate courses in organismal and cellular biology. I am also pursuing a MSc in general biology, working in a fungal taxonomy laboratory. I have a personal passion for teaching and prioritize working for organizations that provide learning opportunities that I didn't have access to during K-12. As a woman in STEM coming from humble means, I feel it important to work with and support equitizing education.
