I have a B.S. in Marine Science (Biology Track) from Eckerd College. I have 9 years of official tutoring experience. I specialize in science and math but have experience in supporting students with other subjects. I was a math instructor at Mathnasium, a Teaching Assistant for the Principles of Ecology course at Eckerd College, and I have been working at Lindamood-Bell Learning Processes since 2016. I was an Instructor for our remediation programs in literacy, comprehension, and math and was an academic coach for students attending our K-12 private school. After 1 year I was promoted to Educational Consultant. My primary roles were monitoring student progress, writing daily lesson plans, providing staff development/mentoring, and communicating with families and professionals regarding student progress and recommendations. As Lead Educational Consultant, I continue these duties in addition to monitoring instructional quality and ensuring compliance with quality guidelines by our Consultants and Instructors. Every summer (except for this one, due to COVID) I have been the Site Manager for our seasonal centers which open during winter/summer months in other locations.This Spring, I began my M.S. in Learning Design and Technology. I am planning on entering the field of online curriculum design. I believe there is a lot of potential in e-learning if we harness motivational design methodology and emerging technologies. During the Spring and Summer semester, I have gained experience with creating quality e-learning modules online which correlates well with the mission of Numerade. Through Lindamood-Bell, I have also gained experience with administering high quality online instruction and mentoring others in administering online instruction.
