Biography

I had a bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the top normal university in China and just got my master's degree in Statistics in Canada. After years of professional training and learning, I have a strong mathematical foundation and rich teaching experience.

In China, I was a full-time math teacher for a while, teaching Mathematical Olympiad class to children. Besides, I had an internship in high school, and therefore I am capable of teaching math to students of all ages. In terms of local Canadian experience, I was a teaching assistant of Introductory Calculus at university. Now, I am a volunteer of Let's Talk Science at Simon Fraser University, a national charitable organization offering a comprehensive suite of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) based programs.

I love communicating with people and teaching. I hope I can keep improving and passing on what I have learned to the young students, which makes me full of sense of pride.
