And while the rate of current is t MPH so for part A were asked while the rates of the boat when it travels upstream So the current slows down the boat right when it goes upstream. So the rate upstream is the speed off the boat in still water, basically minus the speed of the current. That is, if it's going upstream, we have 20 minus t so 20 minus t MPH, right? If the boat is going upstream and then for part B, we were asked to rate of the boat when it travels downstream. So similarly right. If the current speeds up the boat when it when it travels downstream so its speed downstream is just while the speed in still water plus, um, dispute the current. So just 20 plus t 20 plus team MPH when we are heading downstream. All right, take care
