and this problem. We're given a car that is initially at rest that accelerates at a constant rate for eight seconds and has a displacement of 600 meters. And we want to calculate the speed off the car after the 600 meters so we can use one of our kingdom attic equations and we're trying to solve for a final velocity. So this gives us two times still tow X divided by t and then our initial velocity zero so we can go ahead and just plug in our values. So this gives us two times 600 divided by eight, gives me a velocity off 150 meters per second. If you did not know this can a matic equation because it is not as common as the big three, then you can actually solve your acceleration. Using this can a matic equation again. My initial velocity was zero. So to Delta X over t squared would give you an acceleration and then that acceleration can be used to solve your final velocity again. Initial velocity was zero, so in this case we would get an acceleration of 18.75 meters per second squared and then our final velocity is the square root of two times 18.75 times 600 gives us that 150 meters per second.
