question 19 says a mere glass gazing globe in a garden is 13.9 centimeters in diameter. No, 31.9 centimeters in diameter. And they asked us to find the focal length of the globe. Well, first, this is going to act convex. We can't see inside the globe, so our focal length is going to be negative. Half the radius of curvature. Ah, and then we've got to be careful because that says radius. And they gave us the diameters. Remember, the radius is half of the diameter, and so we know that this is going to be negative half of half of 31.9. And if we do that math, we see that this is negative 7.9 75 centimeters.
