Hey guys. So today we're going to be adding integers and here I have this expression of negative 4.2 plus negative 6.1. And when I add two integers together, I like to first look at the signs of both these integers and here we see that we are adding to night of integers together. And so when you add to negative numbers together, that means that their final answer is always going to be negative. And so with that being said, But we can do is we can take the absolute value of both these integers and add them together. And then we'll just slap a negative sign from the answer. So we take the absolute value of negative 4.2 and we added to the absolute value of negative 6.1. That's the same thing is 4.2 plus 6.1 and we can do that math. You're on the side, so we do 4.2 plus 6.1. That's three bring down the the dot and six post four is 10. So our answer is going to be 10.3 hour. Like I said, a night of plus negative always give you a negative number. So our final answer is going to be negative. 10 0.3.
