Hey guys. So today we're adding introduced together, and here we have an expression of negative five plus night of 12. And so what I like to do is I like to see what the signs are in front of my two integers. And so, looking at this expression, we see that we have to night of integers or adding them together. And so when you have to, uh, to interferes with the same sign, what you do is you take the absolute value and you add them together. So we take the absolute value of negative five and we added to the absolute value of negative 12. And that's the same thing as five plus 12 and find plus 12 is equal to 17. But since we have two negative integers, that means that our final answer is going to be negative. So that means our final answer to negative five plus night of 12 is going to be negative. 17
