So what i have right here is a simplified structure of dna, is going to help us answer our question for today the first statement says that dna is a polymer dna is a polymer and you've probably learned that dna is indeed a polymer of nucleotides so what we have here is just a bunch of nucleotides connected to each other so i'm going to write that down we have nucleotides as a monomer, which becomes dna, which is a polymer.

And from our diagram right here, we see that we have a five -membered ring, which stands for the sugar deoxyribose there we go so this statement is also true dna has deoxyribose next one says the nucleotides of dna contain a sugar phosphate and nitrogenous base and from our diagram right here we already saw that we have a sugar we have a sugar and this p right here stands for phosphate and finally our cyclic structures over here are what we call nitrogen spaces and our structure doesn't really show it but it's called that way because these these rings actually have nitrogen in them and so our last statement it says a bonds with g.
