So you're going to find protests that are anaerobes, others will be aerobic, you'll find them that are heterotrophs, autotrofts, and yes, that does mean that you'll find some that have chloroplasts and therefore undergo photosynthesis, and then you'll have others that are mixotrophs, which just means that they'll switch back and forth from heterotroft to autotroft, depending on the conditions of their environment.
