so the next couple problems are going to be talking about TVs and starts with number 16. But we are asked to calculate the mean. The meeting in the mode of a stores set of different TV says that they have in their prices. And so we're going to add up all the numbers. As you can see, we have them already listed. So I'm just going to write ad, uh oh numbers just to save some room and then remember, when we're finding the mean or the average of the same thing. Or there's we also call X Bar a czar symbol. When we do that, we're dividing by the number that was in that list originally. So we've got 12345678 different sets of TV prices. And so we're gonna go ahead and add up the 6 95 plus the 6 95 plus the 8 95 plus 9 +99999 plus 1100 plus 1200 plus 1300 plus 14 99. And I get 8000 383 evident about eight. And remember, we're dealing with money, so you're gonna want to make sure you around your money to the nearest two sets. So two decimal places. So the average cost of the TVs is $1047 round 2 88 sets. That's the average. So then our task is to look at our list and find the media so that you look at your list and order from smallest to largest, largest to smallest, simply matter, and you're going to start on the outside so the 6 95 of the 14 and nine and work your way into the middle. So ah, 6 95 of the 1300 work away in again 8 95 100 and then you'll notice that it goes rectangle between the 99 999 and 1100 so that whenever that happened, you take those two numbers and you're basically finding the average of those two numbers. So I'm gonna take 909 plus 1100 divided by two, and that's going to get us 999 plus 1100 is 2000 90 nine. Divided by two is gonna put us at 1000. Okay, make that look a little bit nicer. 1000 49 dollars and 50 cents. And remember to fund a calculator. Add that zero to make it look nice because we're talking about money. And then the last thing we need doesn't involve really any math. It's just looking at your list and determining which numbers, if any, occur the most. So 695 if you figure, um, shows up the most, so $695 is our mode.
