When we talk about restricting access, so most microsoft operating systems are going to use either your microsoft account or a local user account that typically has a password associated with it.

And that account provides you access to the main applications on the computer, but also provides you access to a specific user folder.

That user folder is restricted from other users.

So they can't see manipulator access any data that's stored in there.

So in there you'll have all kinds of temporary storage as well, depending on the states of your applications and how you use them.

And then depending on what level different accounts are in the operating system, will determine how much control you have over the os -wide installation and modification of things...
