everyone stay were answering Problem number eight from chapter 13 of the textbooks are the following goods non rival consumption. So in part, we were asked to identify it. A slice of pizza is non rivalrous party. You were asked to identify if a laptop computer is better public radio and then an iced tea. So, um, what does it mean to be non viable? Well, to be non rival is one of the two main characteristics of a public good, because when one person used to the public good, another person can also use it. So that is, however, did it defined on right just to give it, for instance, Um, our text tells us with the private good, like pizza. If Max is eating pizza, then Michelle cannot also eat it. That is, the two people are rivals and consumption. So that already answers partner a slice of pizza. Since, um, two people are gonna be rivals and continue the pizza to answer. The question is, they're good of the slice of pizza. Non rival. No, it is not. And just to explain that it because two people can't share that state in part being, you were asked at the laptop computer. Is my rival consumption similar to a slice of pizza? A laptop computers personalized to one person. So two people cannot consumed at the same time, too. No, it is not one rival consumption in parts you were given a public radio. Now this is different from parts A and B because, yes, multiple people consume information from a public radio opposite exact time, which does make it Mom. Rival consumption. There's no regionally competing to consume it. Everyone listen to public radio at one time Now for our last item, an ice cream cone while similar to a slice of pizza. Um, and ice cream cone is for one consumer only. So, um, there would be two rivals and in something for which makes it not not liable. And there you have it. If you guys enjoyed this video explanation, please of the lifeline and next to it and have a nice day
