As the extent of environmental protection expands, would you expect marginal costs of environmentalprotection to rise or fall? Why or why not?
When there is too much pollution then to clear the initial level of pollution, the cost incurred isneeded to be less but as the level of environment protection increases, the level of cleaning upwill also rise and then additional cleanup will now need much more amount of money to do samebenefit as before. So, marginal cost of environmental protection increases as level ofenvironmental protection increases.
