So this question is asking us to use Hess's law to determine the entropy of reaction. Ah, the following reaction. So we have SP solid plus five halves. Korean gas becomes spcl five solid and were given the information that s b solid plus three halves seal too becomes SBC Oh, let's rewrite that becomes SP CEO three solid and that has adult age Uh, three negative 3 14 Killer Jules and then the same thing for this one. Spcl three solid Let's seal to gas becomes SB C 05 solid and that has adult h of negative 80 Killer Jules, So perhaps, is long. We just have thio kind of do some modified algebra pretty much. And we have to figure out if we add these two equations together. So, like a systems of equations are things gonna cancel out? So we see that we need to end with SBC 05 as our product and we're gonna get SP one more of S B and five and 1/2 moles of seal to gas. Um, as are reactive. So if I look at these equations, that means my SBC all threes, we're gonna have to cancel out we can see that because in this equation, s p C 03 isn't our ah product. And Spcl three is part of our reactions in the second equation. We can just cancel them out because they're on opposite sides of this arrow then. So we're adding these two equations together, we can see that there is only one more us being so sp solid. We have three and 1/2 miles of steel to and one mole of seal to here. So if we add those two together, that's gonna become five and 1/2 moles of seal to gas. Our Spcl three's got canceled out. So that's good. Which means that we're only left with spcl five as our product, which is exactly the equation that we're looking for. Now. We just have to figure out what to do with this other information of the M puppies of reaction. And so if we add these systems of equations together, that means we're just gonna add our employees of reaction. So the doubt to H for the total reaction is gonna be negative. 3 14 plus negative 80 which, if you add those two things together, it's gonna give you negative. 384 killer. Jules, Thanks for watching
