So in this problem, we want to find the Delta h of reaction of the reaction CEO solid plus Seo to gas form C A C E O. Three solid. We want to find the Delta h of reaction. And in order to do this, we're going to use the given Delta H is and so that is CS plus, OOO to gas plus one half oh two gas form C A C O three solid with adult age of negative eight twelve point eight Killa Jules And then our second given reaction is to CS plus O to gas forms to see a O. S with adult age of negative twelve. Sixty nine point eight Killer Jules on DH. So what we want to do is combine these two given reactions in order to obtain a net result of our reaction of interest. And then we can simply add together The Delta H is in order to get our Delta h of reaction. And so I'll do that here on the next page ofthe first Just rewrite that first given chemical equation because it's already in the form that we want. CEO Seo three solid and all right rewrite that Delta H Negative eight twelve point eight Killer Jules. And now I'LL take the second reaction given reverse it and divided by two And so then I'll end up with C a o s form's cs plus one half o to gas and I'll do the same thing with the Delta h I will change the sign to positive and divide it by two. And so I end up with six. Thirty four point nine. Kill it, Jules. And so now we can add all these equations together. And so we have a one half o two on each side and we have a c a solid on each side. And so now we can combine what remains so we have ooo to gas plus c ao solid forms See a CEO three solid And that's our reaction of interest. And so we just add the Delta Ages together and we obtained negative one seventy seven point nine pillage ALS and that is our final answer
