CH3F is a polar molecule, even though the tetrahedral geometry often leads to nonpolar molecules. Explain.
$\mathrm{CH}_{3} \mathrm{F}$ Contains four polar bonds but their polarities are of different magnitude. The $\mathrm{C}-\mathrm{F}$ bond is slightly more polar than the $\mathrm{C}-\mathrm{H}$ bond. This makes the molecule polar even though it has a tetrahedral geometry.

c. H three F. Contains four polar bonds, but we have polarities of different magnitudes, so the Cf bonds is more polar than the C. H bonds. So this makes the molecule polar, even though it does have tetra Federal geometry. So here we have carbon Florina, hydrogen, hydrogen, and hydrogen. So what we have is very small die poles that are in the direction of carbon because carbon is more electric negative than hydrogen. And then what we also have is a die pull in the direction of flooring because flooring is more electro negative because we know that florian is a group seven halogen. Carbons, group four hydrogen are all considered group ones. So that is why this molecule is polar despite being tetra federal geometry where we have an overall die pole in the direction of the flooring.
