Okay, so we're asked to factor in this case contracted by grouping. Looking at our 1st 2 terms, we can fact they're out and X squared. So we get X squared times, accidents wanted. And for our last two terms, we can factor out the positive too. So we're left with the next minus one. Now we can see that we have an X minus one in common that we've been factor out. Get X minus one times x squared plus two.
