So before we can do that, we need to first find out what the atomic trends are, atomic radius trends are on the periodic table.

So as you go down a period, so as you go down a period from left to right, atomic radius decreases, which means that atomic radius increases the further left you are.

And this is again because the attractions between the valence electrons and the core electrons increase as you go from left to right.

And because they're increasing, the electrons are pulled in a little bit closer to the nucleus as you get to this side, as you get to the halogen and noble gas side of the periodic table.
