And if they're mixtures, we want to classify them as either a homogenous mixture or a heterogeneous mixture.

So let's go ahead and start with the first one here.

We have a glass of milk.

And, well, a glass of milk, if you want to think about it being a pure substance or a mixture, it's actually going to be a mixture because milk, it's, not it's not pure we do have a mix of fat and proteins and water as well so there is not just one single thing that is found or present in milk so it is a mixture and it's actually going to be homogenous mixture simple because if you look at the milk here we have an example of a glass of milk it is it does have fixed proportions throughout it does appear homogeneous there is no different proportion either at the bottom or the middle or the or the or the top and so because it is fixed throughout it is going to be homogenous mixture.

The next example is beer.

So here beer, it kind of like milk.
