two angles are complimentary. Charlie yourself a little corner. Let me call the top angle X on the bottom able. One measure of one angle is 10 more than three times the measure of the other. So I say that the measure of one angle is 10 more than three times the other. Find the measure at each angle. What's our? Their clue? They're complementary. Complementary means we have 90 degrees. I'm gonna substitute because one equation already tells you what X is equal. I could just substitute that right there. So X gets replaced with 10 plus three. Why plus y equals 90 Combined My life terms 10 plus four. Why equals 90? Get my variable On by itself, core Y equals 80. Divide by four y equals 20. All right, I need to find the other piece. Will remember They add up thio 90 degrees. So 20 plus 70 works and you can check for yourself That seventies, 10 more
