this problem references set our which was given back and exercise for For this problem, we wanted to find two things in regards to this set. First, we're going to define domain and then we're going to define range. So let's look at domain first. The domain of a set are the inputs there, the numbers that air going into the set or into the function. If we have a function well, when we have ordered pairs, those were the first values of the ordered pairs or the X values. So let's take a look at our set here. My ex values I have to five negative three and 19. So my domain is gonna have four numbers in it. And typically we put these in numerical order, so I would have negative 3 to 5 and 19. Okay, well, what about the range? If domain is my input, then range is my output There. The numbers that I get out of the function or out of the set, I would order pair. It's the second number which means is my y values. So let's take a look at the set. Are my out put my Y values? I have seven, three, seven and five. Now I do have a doubled number in my range, and we typically do not list it twice. We just have to list it one time, even though it shows up twice in my set. It's only gonna show up once when I list the range and I'm gonna put these in numerical order again. So I have three, five and seven. It's OK that I have a different number of elements in the domain in the range this also, these sets do correctly identify the numbers in my domain and range because I share a number in the range.
