we can use the Moller Mass to figure out the number of moles of a particular atom in a compound. So if we've got 25 g of propelling, just see three age six. The mass of propylene is 42 g per one small, and so that gives us point 595 moles. Now, if you want to know moles of a particular Adam, you take it a step further. So 25 g of C three h, six 42 g in the compound, in one mole of the compound and then in one mall of C three h six. Do you have three moles of carbon? And so when you do the calculation, you get 1.79 moles of carbon. If we want to know about hydrogen, we start the same same process. And in one mole of C three, age six, you have six moles of hydrogen, and so you multiply 25 times six. Divide that by 42 and you get 3.6 moles of hydrogen, and you would do that same process for any other compound where you want to know the number of moles either the compound itself or the number of moles of an individual atom
