We look to all the derivatives we see in the equation from this statement, we have just the function itself. From here we have the first derivative of the function, and from this term, we're looking at the second derivative. So we have the second derivative. We have the first derivative, and those are all the derivatives that appear in this equation. Now we look at the highest derivative that appears, and the answer to this problem is that this is a second order differential equation.
