Determine whether the relation defines to be a function of . If a function is defined, give its domain and range. If it does not define a function, find two ordered pairs that show a value of that is assigned more than one value of . See Example 2.$$\{(3,4),(3,-4),(4,3),(4,-3)\}$$
$\mathrm{No},(3,4),(3,-4)$ or (4,3),(4,-3)

So in this problem, we're given the set of board repairs to represent a relation, and the first thing we want to determine is whether this relation is a function. Well, remember, if it's a function that means every X value is assigned to only one. Why value? Well, let's take a look. Will notice. In our first order pair, the X value of three is assigned to the Y value of four. But in the second order pair, this same X value of three is assigned to in order to the y value negative four. Because the same X value is assigned to two different Y values, this will not be a function now. The second part of our directions say if it's not a function to determine to ordered pairs where an ex value is being assigned to more than one, why value? Well, we've essentially just done that. We said that three was assigned to a Y value of four and three was assigned to a wide value negative for now for this second part of the question. If you know the stills last toward repairs. The X value of four is assigned to three and four It's also assigned to negative three, so you could have also answered this part with the ordered pairs for three and four negative three.
