Hello, everyone.
00:02
So we're back with this drawing i have of the four chambers of the heart and the four valves of the heart.
00:08
If you watched the last video, i already explained diastole and cicely, but i'm just going to do a quick explanation of it again.
00:18
So we're starting with diastole, which is again the relaxation period.
00:24
So the heart is relaxed.
00:26
So diastole is the first step.
00:29
So the blood's coming in.
00:31
Pulling in the atrium and the atria, okay? and then next is atrial systole, which is when these valves, the tricuspid and bicuspid valve open, and blood flows into the ventricles.
01:00
Okay? and then what happens next, that allows the blood to flow, from the ventricles out of the heart and to the lungs or to the body after the tricuspid and mitral or bicuspid valve close.
01:26
So then these will open.
01:27
Oh, these will open.
01:32
Go out to the body...
