in this problem we're being asked to evaluate to given expression. Well, the first thing that stands out to me is I have a couple of grouping symbols, so you always want to take care of the innermost grouping Simple, which in this case contains eight minus nine while eight minus nine is negative one. So now we're left with negative two times to quantity of two plus four squared times, negative one and then that quantities getting square. So now within that bracket, we need to perform order of operations. So the next operation we should do is the exploded. Well, four squared means four times, for which is 16. So we have negative two times to quantity of two plus 16 times negative one and the quantity is getting square. Well, we still have to do order of operations within the bracket, so we have addition and multiplication. So we must do the multiplication next. Well, 16 times negative one is negative. 16. So we have negative two times to quantity of two plus negative 16 and that quantity is getting squared. So the last thing in that bracket we have is two plus negative 16 which is equal to negative 14. So we're gonna have negative two times to quantity of negative 14. Race to the second power. So now we've found the value of our grouping. Simple. So now let's take a look at what operations are left. Well, it looks like we have multiplication. And the next moment, So we must take care of our exponents first. Well, we're being asked to find negative 14. Race to the second power. Well, negative. 14 times negative. 14 is positive. 1 96 So I'm just gonna come over here because I'm ran down a room, so I'm left with negative two times 1 96 And now we just need to multiply. Negative to buy 1 96 which is negative. 392. So what we found is the value of our given expression is
