here we have a polynomial expression, and we're going to evaluate it for equals. Negative to and B equals three. And to evaluate it means to substitute those numbers in for A and B and then simplify. We have the opposite of negative to cubed times three plus negative two times three minus negative to minus 21. And it's really helpful to use the parentheses around the numbers that you're substituting in, especially if you have a lot of negatives. It'll help you keep track of your order of operations. Okay, the next thing I want to do in the first term, I want just Cube the negative, too. And that gives us negative eight. So we have the opposite of negative eight times three. And in the next term, all multiply these two numbers. We get negative six and then in the next term minus negative, too, is the same as plus two and then we still have the minus 21 on the end. Okay, going back to the beginning. Ah, the opposite of negative eight would be positive. Eight times three would be 24 plus negative six means minus six, and then we still have the plus two and the minus 21. So now we just need to add all this up. 24 minus six plus two and minus 21. And that gives us negative one.
