Let's look at some common examples for mean median and mode for the 1st 1 will look at main, and I'm writing mean over a height and weight chart. In order for the doctor to determine with your underweight, healthy way overweight or would have you, your weight is compared to the average weight of a person in your age category. So all of the weights that air taken for the same people the same age or at it, divided by the number of people. And then you're compared to that average thinking about the medium. If we have a number of different people who do the same occupation and we want to know their salary or income data, we're gonna look at the median value for their salary because people starting out make much less than people who have been working the same job for a long time and who are near retirement. Whether they're Carpenter, a lawyer, a bath fitter, it really doesn't matter. The median is the best way to determine the average salary income. Uh, the best measure of central tendency would be the media, and if we're talking about sales, say, for example, a shoe store needs to know which shoe to stock the most of their gonna look at which one is most popular. How do they know? Because that shoe has so more than any other. So that would be the mode for that particular item. So me medium mode have a lot of useful applications.
