in this diagram were asked to find the length of Segment D F. So let's take a minute and look at the points that they've given us. Point D has congrats markings to the left and to the right of Point D, which means Point D is the midpoint of Segment A C Point E also has congruent markings on each side of Point E, so that makes Point E. The midpoint of Segment A, B and F has come group markings on each side of Point F, making F the midpoint of Segment BC so connecting D two F connecting mid points of two sides of a triangle makes this a mid segment, and mid segments of triangles are parallel to the third side of the triangle or parallel to the non um, the side that doesn't contain points D and F. Also, a mid segment is half the length, so D F is equal to 1/2 the length of its parallel side, so that would be a B. And because A B is marked 2.5 and congrats 2.5, that makes D F equal to 1/2 of five, which is actually 2.5
