A multivariate function is also called a multivariate expression, a multivariate polynomial, a multivariate series, or a multivariate function of several variables.

Let's take a look at the graph of F notice that it has symmetry about the origin. We call that origin symmetry. So that means that opposite X values have opposite. Why values? So that means it's an odd function. And let's take a look at the graph of G notice that it has symmetry about the Y axis, and that means that opposite X values have the same Y value, and that makes it even.
