Hello, everyone. This is Ricky and today working on a problem 13. And we're gonna be talking about how the molecules of elements and the molecules of compounds may differ. Well, for the most part, there are very similar, um, whether you're our a element, um, like oxygen or you are a compound like water, you will see that, um, there's always a general set of rules that chemicals were chemical marshals will follow. The always be bonded together, the other electrons and any lone pairs of electrons will remain on the, um, original, um, Adam of which they came from. Um And so although we have something like oxygen, Yeah, and then we have something like water. Um, you can notice that having other atoms bound to an element can vastly change of the properties of the element. For example, elemental oxygen, naturally, a di atomic meaning kit bonds with itself to make oh, to rather than just existing is pure oxygen. Um, and we see that this isn't gashes form while water at room temperature is a liquid. And so there are a lot of effects that, um, we see like weather is changing Milton point boiling points our just overall molecular structure changes like we go from hole in here organization off the pure elemental compound versus a bent orientation for the, uh, why don't you have cut their compound so of this video is helpful.
