So we're continuing on with our work and gas is we're taking a look at Boyle's law here so far states that a constant temperature for a fixed amount of gas the pressure of the gas is inversely proportional to the volume. So in mathematical terms, that means P is proportional to want over v So the inverse of the volume. So you can also write that as p one B one is equal to P to be to so we can rearrange that to find P two is equal to P one V one over B two and then I feed two is equal to three b one. We plug that in. We got P two people to p one B one divided by three b one. Cancel out. Our volumes are the ones. So then we get p two secrets p one divided by three. So therefore, if the volume of gas is tripled, pressure is divided by three
