In mathematics, a proof is a sequence of statements given to explain how a conclusion is derived from premises known or assumed to be true. The proof attempts to demonstrate that the conclusion is a logical consequence of the premises, and is one of the most important goals of mathematics.

In mathematics, algebra is one of the broad parts of mathematics, together with number theory, geometry and analysis. In its most general form, algebra is the study of mathematical symbols and the rules for manipulating these symbols; it is a unifying thread of almost all of mathematics.

So this question is to, um, basically practice dimensional analysis in order to estimate the number of dentists per city, we need the population of the city, the number of patients that a dentist sees in a day, the number of days that a dentist's works in a year, and the number of times that each person visits the dentists each year. So we can say that dentists see 10 patients per day. We can say that they work 225 days per year, and we can say that people visit dentist ah, two times per year. So we can say Or you can say, Maybe better yet two visits, huh? Year So we can say, um, for part A For San Francisco, we can say that there's 22 times 10 to the Sixth people times two visits per year for one person. And then there's one year for every 225 work days. And then for every one dentists he sees about 10 patients per day, and then this would be equal to approximately 1800 dentists. So essentially, we just have to do this for, uh, this basically a city weaken just pick any random city. Ah, you would be picking your own city. However, let's d'oh weaken Do Marion, Indiana So marry in Indiana has a population of about 50,000. So let's do a low population city relatively low. Ah, so for part B, we have again, uh, in this case, it will be five times 10 to the fourth people multiplied by the exact same parameter. So two visits per year per person multiplied by one year. Uh, for every 225 work days multiplied by one dentist sees about 10 visits for everyone. Ah, work day. And this is giving us approximately 45 dentists. So, as you can see, of course, the number of dentists is directly proportional to how many people there are in this city. And again, this is for a relatively small city. Marion, Indiana. That is the end of the solution. Thank you for watching
