So this problem wants us to find the payroll for the Mets and for the Yankees if we know their total payroll together and how the two compared. So let's go ahead and define our variables. So we're gonna let X equal the Yankees payroll. The Mats payroll is 65.6 less than that. So X minus 65.6 is going to equal the Mets payroll. And I know the sum of their pay rules has to equal 337.2. So let's go ahead and do two steps at once. Here, I'm going to add 65.6 double sides, and I'm also gonna combine my life terms. So express X is two x. Let's make that two more ledge. Abril is two x and 3 37.2 plus 65.6 is 402.8. Now I'm in a divided RL sides by two, and that gives me X equals to a 1.4. So that's the Yankees payroll. So the eggs we're 201.4 million. The mess were 201.4, minus 65.6. If I do 201.4, minus 65.6. That gives me 135 \$0.8 million for the meth payroll, and if I add those two together, I get 337.2. So this is my correct answer.
