Hi, everybody. This is section 4.8, Number 10 on. They tell you that F of X is equal to four X and were asked to find f of f inverse of the square root of to what will that be? So they're a few ways to go about this problem, and one way to go about it is to first find Hef inverse. And then we would divide both sides by four. I get why equals X over four, and that will be the inverse function. So are f in verse is equal to X over four. So now when we plug in f inverse wrapped up radical to the square to we're gonna get the square root of two over four, then f of the square root of two over for what happens when we plug that in four times what we plug it. The spirit of two over four on low involved. We just get this. We're route of two because these cancel out and again if you'll notice what's gonna happen. The square root of two was in the question and in the answer, because when you compose a function with its inverse, this is just a linear function. There no restrictions or anything like that. You plug in the spur to you're going to come out with the square root of two.
