So that means the probability of a person not interested in protecting their privacy is 1 minus 0 .35 or 0 .65.

So this is the key probability, the key number that we need because we know we want to find the probability that out of four randomly selected students.

What is the probability that zero of them want to protect their privacy? so if we do that, we know we are going to multiply 0 .35 to the 0th power because 0 students want to, 0 students want to protect their privacy, and we're going to multiply 0 .65 times itself four times, because all four of them do not want to protect their privacy, and that probability is 0 .65.
