all right, we've got a question here that is X squared minus two X plus five. That's less than zero, and we want to solve for this inequality. First thing we do is we try to factor this out, and it doesn't factor out simply. So we plug it into a quadratic calculator, and even when you plug it into a quadratic calculator, you get, um, a X values that will have imaginary values in them. And so that could make the question a little bit more perplexing is what we'll do is we'll just write a standard number line from negative infinity to Infinity and we'll just choose. Random values will start off by a negative 10 zero and a 10. And we'll say, Well, what happens when you plug in the 10 into this where you plug in the 10, you'll get 100 minus 20 plus five, which is 85 we know that that it's not gonna be less than zero. You plug in zero here, you'll get a five, and then that's also not gonna work. Plug in a negative 10. You'll still get a positive value. You always get positive values values greater than zero. So then you can confirm that this inequality actually does not exist. And what you're gonna end up writing and your answer is just that the There are no values of X where this inequality exist.
