And so a mechanism that can occur in form a reaction with ethene and sulfuric acid is this double bond here between the two carbons of ethane can, i guess you can say, attack the hydrogen on a sulfuric acid and kind of take it away from it.

And then, of course, the bond between the oxygen and, and hydrogen of the sulfuric acid, those electrons go to that oxygen.

We then form, we break that double bond, and we form a carbony on one of the carbons, while the other carbon got that hydrogen from the bond.
