00:08 I'm going to do that because this is the slope and this is the y intercept.

00:14 So for the top equation, i'm going to start by subtracting 5x to the other side.
00:18 So it looks like this.
00:20 2y is equal to a negative 5x plus 7.
00:23 Then we can divide everything by 2.
00:27 So it's negative 5 halves x plus 7 halves.
00:31 For the second equation, we do the same thing with the negative 10x.
00:33 I'm going to add that to the other side.
00:35 So negative 4 y is equal to a positive 10x minus 14.
00:39 And now we divide everything by a negative 4.
00:43 So this turns into a positive y, 10 divided by a negative 4.
