So some of the differences is, and we've talking about, or some videos have spoken on, perhaps not in this particular textbook, but of the difference between crystallized and fluid intelligence.

Crystallized is essentially how much information we have totally accumulated fluid intelligence.

Is our ability to deal with problems and just be fluid in adapting to situations with our mind.

So the key distinctions here are that typically on average, the older you get, the more crystallized intelligence you have.

And fluid intelligence also tends to be higher in younger adults as measured by the fact that they can problem solve quicker.

They can move from one task to another more quickly.
