00:01 About this question we need to locate the following numbers on a number line so it's a good idea if we can convert these into proper and improper fractions so the proper fractions are the one with denominator greater than numerator so one over four is the proper fraction and for the improper fractions uh the remaining are improper so nine over five and eleven over three we can convert the improper fractions into a mixed number so that we give us a better idea about where to locate those so this is going to be one four over nine uh 4 over 5 and this is going to be 3 2 over 3 now let's try to locate this in the number line so this is the number line then we locate 0 so this is 0 and this is 1 this is 2 this is 3 and this is 4 this is 5 and so on so for the first 1 over 4 we know that this is a number less than 1 and greater than 0 so between 0 and 1 we are going to make 4 four parts so this is one this is two this is three and this is the fourth one so these are the four parts it is divided in four parts and the first part is going to correspond to one over four the second part is two over four the third part is three over four and the fourth one is four over four so this is a required number one over four and we talk about one four over five so this is a number clearly more than one but less than two so between one and two we are going to divide this in five equal segments because there's a five over here so we have one two three four and five so the four we need the fourth part of this of these five segments so this is the fourth part so this is the required number nine over five and we talk about the last one that is greater than three definitely but less than four so between three and four we are going to divide this in three equal segments so this is one, this is two, and this is already three.
