00:01 All righty, so today we're going to be doing some pressure conversions.

00:03 And so when we're doing these conversions, we're going to be using dimensional analysis.

00:07 And so when we're doing our dimensional analysis, it's important to remember that we make sure our units cancel and that everything we put on top of each other is true.

00:14 So to start with, we're going to be converting 699 millimeters of mercury to atmospheres.

00:19 So i start with my 699 millimeters of mercury on top because that's what i was given.

00:25 And then for my conversion factor, i know that there are 760 millimeters of mercury.

00:30 And one atmosphere.

00:31 So i go down here and my millimeters of mercury goes on the bottom because i need it to cancel with my millimeters of mercury on the top.

00:41 And so at this point, i have one atmosphere on top, which is what i want.

00:45 It matches what i have in my problem.

00:47 And my millimeters of mercury cancel.

00:48 There aren't any leftover units.

00:50 And so then i just do my math across.

00:52 And so then i'm left with 0 .920 millimeters.

01:02 So now we're going to move on and do 18 .2 psi.
